Connecturday 2026: Everything You Need to Know

Connecturday 2026 is already heating up: discover some of the key details.

Have you ever wondered what happens when you mix a tech event with a geek culture festival? If the answer is no, let me tell you: you get Connecturday, one of the most anticipated cultural festivals in Costa Rica.

This year marks its 15th anniversary, and as usual, the event will take place at the Costa Rica Convention Center on September 19 and 20, 2026.

And what better way to celebrate than with some amazing guests?

In previous editions, we have seen how major celebrities have made their way to Connecturday, bringing quality, excitement, and color to the convention halls. Iconic figures such as Alexander Ludwig (Vikings), Sebastián Llapur (the Latin American voice of Darth Vader), Troy Baker (the voice of Joel in the video game The Last of Us), among many other personalities from the geek and film communities, have been part of this incredible convention.

This year will be no exception. The organizers have already announced several major guests who will be attending Connecturday for the first time. Among the most exciting names are Mario Castañeda (yes, the legendary voice of Goku) and British-Spanish actress Natalia Tena (the unforgettable Nymphadora Tonks from the Harry Potter film series).

Cosplayers, content creators, podcasters, and thousands of attendees will have the opportunity to meet the people behind some of the greatest characters that have shaped the childhood and lives of fans of Dragon Ball Z and the Harry Potter saga.

Ticket presale started today and tickets are available through Smarticket.net (a BN Mastercard is required). General admission prices range from ₡12,000 for a one-day pass to ₡16,000 for access to both days. VIP and VIP+ experiences will also be available; however, their prices have not yet been published on the website.

Personally, I have had the chance to attend several previous editions of Connecturday, and I can say it is a truly enjoyable experience. That said, make sure to arrive early, as parking at the Costa Rica Convention Center can sometimes become challenging (and arriving early will help you make the most of your day).

To stay updated and find more information, you can visit the event’s official website at connecturday.com or check their social media profiles.

I hope to see you at this edition of Connecturday, and I hope you enjoy it as much as possible.
